Yisrael Kohen
Associate Pastor
Pastor Yisrael Kohen serves as Associate Pastor and has been an integral part of TWC since its inception. He oversees several of the congregation’s hands-on outreach ministries, including Jail and Prison Ministry, Nursing Home Ministry, and outreach to those experiencing homelessness. Where the need is greatest and the doors are hardest to open, Pastor Yisrael is usually already there.
He is especially known for his faithful work inside prison walls, bringing the hope of the gospel to inmates who are often forgotten or written off. His ministry is marked by consistency, compassion, and courage—meeting people at their lowest points and reminding them that redemption is still possible.
A loving man with a true shepherd’s heart, Pastor Yisrael combines deep pastoral care with a wealth of scholarly knowledge. He has a rare ability to teach with clarity while leading with empathy, guiding people not just toward better understanding, but toward transformed lives.
