Welcome
The Way Congregation is a place where people can meet Yeshua / Jesus, engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. Our goal is to become and make disciples who walk the way Yehsua walked.

What To Expect
After coming in, grab coffee or tea and feel free to take it the sanctuary. A nursery is available for children 0-3 accompanied by a parent. At 10:30 we blow the shofar (ram's horn) as God instructed (Neh 4:14), and then say the Shma, which Yeshua / Jesus said is greatest commandment (Mark 12:29-3).
We then praise God for his goodness, faithfulness, and love toward us with 4-6 contemporary Christian and Messianic songs.
We then stand for the traditional Hebrew blessing (the congregation echoes) and read the Parashat haShavuah - a Bible reading program thousands of years in the making (about 5-8 minutes). We close with another Hebrew blessing. The children (ages 4-11) are dismissed to their classes, we share a few announcements and say hello to our neighbors.
Then Pastor Doug, a former Calvary Chapel Pastor, teaches verse by verse through the Bible with occasional topical teachings. Doug closes with the Aaronic benediction in Hebrew and in English.
Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship and meeting new people. Every other Shabbat we have a potluck (Hebrew Oneg / delight), followed by Shabbat plus where we open up the weekly Scripture portion and have an interactive time of study (Midrash).
